Where: This workshop will be based out of Farmington, New Mexico

When: May 16th, 2026 @3pm - May 7th @7am

Limited to only 6 Students

Total Cost: $599.99

This will be be a long night, and we will take full advantage of it! From Golden hour on Saturday through sunrise on Sunday we will capture the setting sun, stars, and Milky Way!

•Meet at 3pm in the conference parking lot and depart for our target location. It is approximately a 1 hour and 18 minute drive to the trailhead, followed by a short, easy 1.3 mile hike.

•Upon arrival we will set out for the first of two areas we will be photographing throughout the night before we move onto the second. we will return to the first area before dawn. You'll want to bring a wide angle lens. If youre into wild horses, they sometimes make an appearance in which case you may want a long lens.

•Hiking poles may be helpful. You'll also want to make sure you have head lamps with extra batteries, extra camera batteries, tripods, remotes, your trackers if you choose to bring them, snacks and drinks.

You'll want to eat before hand or bring a picnic meal to eat in the field.

Since we will be out all night you may want to bring a cushion, or a stool, again the hike is les than 1.5 miles each way.

You'll also to dress in warm layers as it gets chilly out there even in May. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹
