Mission

What can I say about the eerie, ghostly beauty of the bayou that photos cant? EVERYTHING! I was truly mesmerized by its stunning colors, and incredible serenity while paddling around this marshy forest of ancient cypress. Join me for an immersive (literally) workshop where we will get up close and personal to the swamp by watercraft, and wading gear! I cannot wait to return and show you all around!

Our lodging sits on the banks of Big Four Slough with waterway access to the Majestic Caddo Lake, this two story 2640 sq ft 5 bedroom, 2 bath sits under giant oak trees in heavenly seclusion. Take off from the pier with a covered boat dock to explore Texas' only natural lake, and largest cypress forest in the world.

Itinerary

•1 Week ahead of the event we will have a "Pre-Workshop" Zoom class to discuss finalities, concepts, techniques and to get you familiar with the type of images we will be working on!

 

Evening Day 1: We will begin by meeting at a TBD location in Marshall, Texas Monday, November 6th at 11am. From there we will gather for a briefing, have lunch, chat a bit and strategize for the first evenings adventures, arriving very early to ensure time to inflate our watercraft, or adorn our chest waders depending on the decision that day.

Morning Day 2: The Following morning we will rise bright and early for that mornings sunrise. 

​

Evening Day 2: Will follow the previous evenings itinerary.

Day 3: Will follow the above Itinerary

Morning Day 4: The Final Sunrise, following the above Itinerary
