A brand new workshop for me, and one I have stewed over the may years since my first visit. It's a magical place that needs to be experienced if youre a landscape photographer. For 3 nights we will amp in the back country, via tent or car, with a small group of 5 and myself to capture this stunning and unique geological wonderland. If you have never heard of it, I urge you to click the button below, or just do a google search. It will blow your mind. The trick is, it's tricky to access! You need 4x4, and with the maze of roads out there, one wrong turn could earn you a long, long walk back, or a very expensive tow. As an experienced backcountry and 4x4 guide, you can feel assured youre going to make it in, and out with some stunning images!

A massive ocean delta many millions of years ago, left this wild place eroded, and scarred. Its geology, and stratification are what ,are this place stunning! With rolling badlands, epic mesas, and cliffside views as far as the eye can see, there will be no shortage of photographs to be taken!

Since first offering this workshop in 2017 I have returned each year to behold, to capture, and to share with others the incredible ancient Redwood forests and the rugged Oregon Coast. Each year I have revised this trip to try and improve it in order to maximize time spent in the field and in the classroom rather than endless driving from location to location. The southern tip of Oregon yields the entirety of the coastal offerings into one, 50 mile stretch of shoreline. And believe me, youre going to see it! You'll spend time peering over the edge of sea cliffs, strolling through fields of rolling hills and wild flowers and being humbled by the massive, otherworldly Redwood groves.

in 2017 I visited the Columbia River Gorge of the very first time. A few days later a massive manmade fire tore through over 50,000 acres of forest. Since then much of its popular trails have been officially closed, and any off trail visitation strictly prohibited. Well, all of that time has given the forest a chance to rejuvenate. The ashes to enrich the new growth and Its time to go back!
This time were getting off the beaten path for some truly unique and wondrous waterfalls with my very good friend, the extremely talented Michael Linquist. One of the most humble humans you will meet, and he's like a brother. I cant think of anyone better to guide us, and help our guests learn how to capture the best waterfall images possible!

Join me for 3 days in the vast and endless backcountry of one of the largest national parks in America. There is so much to see when you leave pavement! Thats why on this workshop we will camp on location, via tent or car amongst forests of Joshua trees, epic Vistas, and incredible dune fields when the park is most hospitable and moody!
